Terms of Service and Conditions of Sale

1. Who we are and what we offer

Morlex AI is an online service, provided by Gabriel Miccoli, that turns a question into an interactive learning experience generated with artificial intelligence. By using Morlex you accept these terms. The Italian version of these terms prevails.

2. Account and age

Creating experiences requires an account. You must be at least 14, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, who in that case accepts these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens with your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. AI-generated content

Experiences are created automatically by AI models. We work to make them accurate, but they can contain errors, simplifications or inaccuracies. They do not replace a teacher, a textbook or professional advice, and must not be used for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. If you find a mistake, you can report it from the section where it appears.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Morlex to:

• request illegal, violent, sexual or hateful content, or instructions to cause harm;
• infringe the rights of others, including copyright and privacy;
• get around the service’s limits, create multiple accounts for free credits, or resell access;
• attack, overload or scrape the service.

We may refuse requests, remove public content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

The requests you write remain yours. You allow us to use them to generate and show you experiences and, for public experiences, to show them to other users. On the Free plan experiences are public (see the Privacy Policy); you can delete them whenever you like. Morlex’s software, brand and interactive components remain ours.

6. Plans, credits and prices

• Free: free, 30 credits on signing up, then 10 credits a month.
• Lite: €3.99 a month plus VAT, 100 credits a month.
• Pro: €9.99 a month plus VAT, or €89.99 a year plus VAT, 300 credits a month.
• Premium: €19.99 a month plus VAT, 600 credits a month.

Experiences are paid for in credits: a new experience costs 10 credits, a change 2 to 5, a question to Morlex 1. Plan credits renew every month and do not roll over. You can buy extra credit packs, which do not expire while the account exists. Credits have no cash value and are neither refundable nor transferable. A failed generation uses no credits.

Invite a friend: someone who signs up from your link gets 10 extra credits; you get 10 when they make their first experience (at most 5 times a month) and 50 if they start a paid plan and keep it for 14 days. Invite credits do not expire. Each new account counts once; accounts made on the same device as the person inviting do not count. If the programme is abused we may cancel the credits obtained.

"Explain it back" and dictation do not use credits. They have a maximum number of uses a day and an overall limit a month, which depend on the plan and are shown on the pricing page; once a limit is reached they become available again the next day or the next month. Exam Mode has a maximum number of exams in preparation, also shown for each plan.

Prices are in euros and exclude VAT: at checkout the VAT of the buyer’s country is added (22% in Italy) and the exact total is shown before you confirm. Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for these purchases: Stripe issues the receipt and handles sales taxes.

7. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel: monthly ones every month, the yearly one every year. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing: the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for and then does not renew. The current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you generally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase (art. 52 of the Italian Consumer Code). Subscriptions and credits, however, give immediate access to digital content: we tell you so on the pricing page before you pay, and by accepting these terms at checkout you confirm that you want to start straight away and that, once supply begins, you lose the right of withdrawal (art. 59(o) of the Consumer Code). If you have not yet used any credit from the purchase, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you anyway.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to keep Morlex available, but there may be interruptions, slowdowns or errors, including ones caused by the providers we rely on. We may change or add features. If we change the price or terms of a running subscription for the worse, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel at no cost.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of generated content. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any problem, write first to supporto@morlex-ai.com: we will try to sort it out. If you are a consumer, the courts of the place where you live have jurisdiction.
